Swaddler Intro Part 2
Speaking of suffocation, another thing to consider is do not use head covering for your babies as if it will obstruct your babies’ mouth or nose thus causing you babies to breathe difficultly and breath stale air rather than fresh air. Any head covering should be avoided; avoid Sudden Infant Death Syndrome than a bite of mosquito or fly on your babies’ face. However, it is up to you which one would you choose: Sudden Infant Syndrome or Mosquito Bite?

Some of the baby swaddlers on the market today have some head covering, if you happen you have bought one for your baby, better you should not use the head covering when you baby is sleeping. You already knew why.
Most moms and dads would like their babies to be beside them when they sleep; however, this is a “no-no” if your baby is still between one to twelve months old. Watch out those family pillows, blankets and even you in pressing you babies into death if you happen to put your babies beside you in your family bed. If your reason is protecting your baby, I will tell you it is safer to put your baby on a separate sleep area beside you during sleep time than put your baby really beside your body and on your family or master bed. Put only your baby on your master’s bed or family bed for feeding and cuddling your baby and not during sleep time.
Another contributing factor for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome is if you smoke together with your baby. Yap, if you are smoker mommy or a smoker daddy, control yourself first from smoking in front of your baby because babies who are expose to smoke of cigarettes is susceptible to interference of their developing lungs and nervous system to develop better and could disrupt babies’ abilities to wake up from sleep. Thus, beware of cigarettes smokes lingering within your house if you happen to have babies in your home because the risk for your baby to develop Sudden Infant Death Syndrome is double.
If you should be wary of the lingering cigarette smoke within your house where you baby is, you should also be mindful of the room temperature in your babies’ room, because too much heat or warmer temperature in the room could lull your baby into very deep sleep which you find your baby hard to wake him or her up. Thus, you should make sure the temperature in the room where your baby sleeps is not too hot or warmer or at the levels that is comfortable. Moreover, you should not overdress you baby because this give your baby a warmer feeling.
